SWGR’s innovation and drive recognised in award of two Possession Management contracts in the UK

SWGR is delighted to announce that is has been selected by Network Rail Scotland to provide possession management services throughout the route via a competitive tender process, allowing it to build on its previous 32 years providing safe and high-quality services on the railways.

 

The infrastructure services provider has placed a huge emphasis on creating a strong safety ecosystem, efficient ways of working and multiskilling its colleagues to provide an even greater level of service for its clients.

 

This, coupled with SWGR’s Safe Together ethos, continues to innovate in order to improve safety and reliability in frontline railway services. This has been recognised by the industry through its listing as a winner in the Scottish Engineering Safety Awards and a finalist in both the Safety and Health Excellence Awards 2022 and the Rail Business Awards 2021.

 

Alongside this, SWGR has also commenced Possession Management services in the North West region, covering Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire and Cumbria. After a competitive tender process, as well as a clear and tangible evidence of a strong and experienced company with safety at its heart, SWGR is providing its renowned services in more regions than ever before.
