SWGR have a unique opportunity for a Zone Manager to join our team in the North West of England. The role will be a blend of both operational and managerial duties supporting our Possession Management Contract.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Access all resource requirements within a T-5 period to ensure all rostering is filled fairly and accurately with competent personnel.

Monitor and risk access.

Use our digital system to create and issue safe system of work packs. Act as line manager for an allocated number of staff within a geographical zone.

Maintain all rail competencies for staff within your zone by liaising with training department.

Carry out site visits and conduct safety briefings.

Manage absence and performance issues within your zone.

Undertake safety critical duties up to and including SPICOP.

Full training will be given to the right person, with the right attitude.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

Must have rail sentinel competencies and be willing to undergo training to develop skillset.

Impressive, demonstrable track record of skills/experience gained within a similar position within fast paced, highly demanding and challenging organisations.

Previous management experience desirable.
