SWGR is seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to recruit, onboard, and resource candidates across the UK within the Rail, Construction, and Civil Engineering sectors.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, building strong relationships with clients and candidates, and ensuring workforce requirements are met efficiently and compliantly across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing, attracting, and screening candidates within Rail, Construction, and Civil Engineering Managing the full recruitment cycle from vacancy intake through to placement Onboarding candidates in line with industry and compliance standards Building and maintaining long-term client relationships Proactively developing new business opportunities Meeting and exceeding KPI targets linked to performance-based bonuses Ensuring accurate candidate records and compliance documentation
Requirements
Proven experience within recruitment (essential) Experience recruiting within Rail, Construction, or Civil Engineering (highly desirable) Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple roles and deadlines Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Working Hours & Benefits
