SWGR’s Training Company Scot-Train offers a quality-focused, comprehensive training and development service for a variety of skills and qualifications across a number of industries, including rail, engineering and construction.

Our dedicated training company Scot-Train is a NSAR (National Skills Academy for Rail) Gold-approved and licensed rail training company, providing a one-stop facility for all rail courses. Railway training and management development courses can be specifically designed to meet clients’ requirements, and we also carry out assessments and mentoring for all grades and skills.

A training centre to bridge the skills gap

Our redeveloped training centre has a range of modern training and meeting rooms fully supported by all necessary training equipment, which are all available for hire. This state-of-the-art facility, complete with e-learning suite and training track, allows us to offer some of the highest quality training in Scotland for rail, construction and welding.

Rail Training

Our railway training courses take place at SWGR’s bespoke training facilities across the UK. As an Association of Railway Training Providers (ARTP) approved and licensed rail training company, we are a one-stop facility for all rail courses, and we can tailor railway training and management development courses to specifically meet every client’s requirements.

To reduce the chance of this happening, we arm our teams with the skills to understand human behaviour so they can lead on the frontline and proactively solve any issues that may contribute towards an accident.
