Scotweld, a division of SWGR, is pleased to confirm that its dedicated Welder Training Centre has been approved under the Certification Scheme for Welder Training Organisations (CSWTO) by the Welding Institute (TWI).
CSWTO certification not only delivers enhanced customer confidence by recognising the competence of an organisation to deliver welder training but also generates new business opportunities between training providers and industry by assuring the quality of training facilities, equipment and procedures.
The certification is only awarded to welder training centres that are proven to deliver welder training to the highest, most rigorous standards of training, with the quality mark providing assurance of the very best in facilities, equipment and resources. Training staff are also certified to the highest standard achieving CSWIP Welding Instructor and Welding Examiner status (Certification Scheme for Personnel).
The dedicated training centre in Glasgow offers a full range of courses including MMA, MIG and TIG welder training designed to focus on the development of practical welding skills and knowledge. Our highly qualified and experienced training staff will provide all trainees with the capability and confidence to assist them to achieve a consistent standard in the process of choice.

Scotweld courses provide a comprehensive knowledge of welding, safety, welding inspection, NDT and practical instruction for those with some or minimal welding experience. They are designed to promote practical welding proficiency and provide trainees with a sound theoretical understanding of the process.
