While we are measured by KPIs set out in frameworks and contracts, we also have our own set of KPIs which define our success.

 

We have systems and processes in place, managed by our Control Centre, to measure these KPIs and report back to our customers.

Digital processes

As well as being beneficial for the environment, digitalising our processes means our teams and our supply chain partners have instant access to information.

 

We’ve developed digital infrastructure through an app, inductions and more to ensure that everyone can contact each other instantly, we can monitor fatigue at all times, and we can audit everything we do to make sure we’re Safe Together every step of the way.

Our objectives

We do not aim to be the biggest infrastructure support services provider, but we aim to be the best.

 

SWGR aims to do this through:

  • A robust training programme that keeps our colleagues competent, but also nurtures skills to improve leadership and other non-technical skills
  • Continuous improvements on our safety processes – implemented through clear communications
  • Continuation of our robust fatigue management strategy to ensure fatigue is never an issue
  • Digitalising what we do for better metrics and risk assessments with measurable outcomes in everything we do
  • Continuation of updating our teams and supply chain partners with Network Rail rules and regulations
