The Scot-Train division of SWGR opened a NSAR-approved eLearning Suite at the Kent office in February 2016.
The purpose built training centre provides an adjudicator environment and houses one trainer each having access to a laptop.
Two Course Trainers for Scot-Train conduct the training and carry out the assessments.
The courses available include the Personal Track Safety Course (PTS). An entry-level qualification for anyone whowishes to work in the railway industry, covering the responsibilities and duties needed to work by the lines.
The Industry Common Induction Training (ICI) is also delivered, a qualification which is going to be mandated by NetworkRail to everyone who holds a PTS.
Scot-Train are delighted to have the new IT suite up and running and are looking forward to helping delegates improvetheir skills and whilst also contributing towards a safer working environment.
The e-learning services offered by Scot-train are just some of the multiple services offered by Scot-Train and the wider SWGR group.
